Welcome to the GeekedAbout Website. The purpose of this site is to provide a place for myself and my friends to hang out, do things, store information, and just be geeks in general. You're more than welcome to join the rest of us :-) It's cake, just register here, and then you can join in the discussion in our forums, add your own bookmarks, or do any of the other various things we've got to do here. If you have any questions, please feel free to post in the forums and ask. Thanks :-)

Being geeked is easy - all you have to do is register on the site, and then you can start using the control panel. The control panel will allow you to manage your bookmarks, and blog entries, and whatever other stuff the staff here at geekedabout will come up with in the future. Registration also allows you to post to our forum. Our forums are filled with other geeks, like yourself, who are interested in a bunch of geekery. From cars, to computers, to books, to music and more. Get started today, and show us what you're geekedabout!

What makes GeekedAbout.com different? Oh, come on! Have you seen those hideous teeny-bopper sites out there? I can think of about a dozen sites where all the other members would like to think that they're deeper than you are, or that they are somehow more emotionally attached to their artistic creations than you are to yours. This site isn't a popularity contest, and it's not here to show the world how much better than everyone else you are because you're deep like Jewel. This site is a place for Geeks to unite, collaborate, and stimulate themselves mentally (not physically, please! :-o) - nothing more, nothing less. Okay, one more thing - we actually attempt to spell thing properly, and use grammar, too. Nuthn' lyke m3ssn up da 'glish langwage.

And finally - please (PLEASE) tell your friends about this site. I can't stress that enough. We're begging you. Pleading. On our knees. With an Altoid in our mouth. Figuratively speaking, of course. We're a small and feeble site right now, but we want that to change. The more geeks that get together on the site, the more we'll be able to take over the world ;-)
